Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of GDC Marheen organized Parent-Teacher Meet for the students of semester 2nd, 4th and 6th in the college to mobilize the parents for the holistic development of college functioning, different facilities provided in the college, to discuss the problems, to aware about the performance of their wards in the college and to bridge the gap between the administration of the college and parents. The programme was organized under the patronage of Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta. In her address she discussed the objectives of the meeting such as attendance of the students, examination system, teaching methodology, admission criteria, college administration, co-curricular activities for improving the confidence level of students and she also highlighted that our teachers are always available for parents to answer their queries related to children and are working hard on bridging the competency gap caused due to the different factors available in the society.

It was a great interaction between teacher and the parents for the development of their children where they discussed both the strengths and area of improvements. Parents were given feedback about different facilities provided to their students in the college and they also suggest their view regarding the improvement of the college. It was come to an end with the conclusion that joint efforts, mutual understanding and cooperation of parents and teachers is very important for the proper nourishment and progress of students as well as for the improvement of functioning of the college.

The whole event was managed by Prof. Anoop Sharma (Convener IQAC), Dr. Balbinder Singh, Dr. Munisha Devi, Dr. Shallu Rani, Prof. Manu Saini (Members IQAC). Other faculty members presented were Prof. Sandeep Chaudhary, Dr. Arun Dev Singh, Prof. Suman, Prof. Diksha, Dr Meenu, Prof Naresh, Prof Naresh Kumari, Prof Saquib, Prof. Amitika.
