NSS Unit in Collaboration with Vande Mataram Committee Organizes Tricolour Rangoli at GDC, Marheen
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, in collaboration with the Vande Mataram Committee of Government Degree College (GDC), Marheen, organized a Tricolour Rangoli Programme on 17 August 2026 in the college campus. The programme marked the conclusion of activities undertaken in connection with the Celebration of Independence Day 2026 and the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, as well as the observance of the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram. The programme was conducted under the benign supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta, worthy Principal of the College.The NSS volunteers and students who participated enthusiastically in the Tricolour Rangoli activity, showcasing their creativity while expressing their patriotism, unity, and deep respect for the nation among them: Niharika,Anshu, Dheeraj, Arti,Surekha,and Payal. The programme aimed to inculcate the spirit of patriotism, national pride, unity, and civic responsibility among the students. The enthusiastic participation of students and staff made the event meaningful, vibrant, and memorable. The event was coordinated and managed by Dr. Arun Dev Singh, NSS Programme Officer, along with Dr. Balbinder Singh, Dr. Shallu Rani, and Prof. Manu Saini. The programme was also graced by faculty members, including: Dr. Munisha Devi, Prof. Diksha, and Dr. Reemi, whose presence added to the significance of the occasion. The programme concluded with a renewed commitment by all participants to uphold the values of patriotism, unity, integrity, and responsible citizenship, reaffirming their dedication to the nation.
