SHe Box Committee of GDC Marheen was successfully conducted one-day awareness programme on the Sexual Harassment Electronic Box (SHe-Box) registration and complaint mechanism with the aim of educating employees and stakeholders about workplace safety and grievance redressal systems. The programme focused on creating awareness about the importance of a safe and respectful working environment, as well as informing participants about the process of filing complaints related to sexual harassment through the SHe-Box online platform. The initiative highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely resolution of complaints. The programme was organized under the patronage of Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta. During the session, Dr. Munisha Devi (Convener, She Box) and Prof. Anoop Sharma provided a detailed demonstration on how to register complaint on the SHe-Box portal and track their status. Participants were also briefed on the legal framework under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, and the role of Internal Complaints Committees (ICCs). Interactive discussions and Q&A sessions allowed participants to clarify their doubts and better understand their rights and responsibilities. Moreover, the lecture included some suggestive measures to eradicate all the problems. Other faculty members presented were Dr. Shallu Rani, Prof. Manu Saini, Dr. Reemi Verma and Dr. Preeti Khajuria.
