Career Counseling Cell and IQAC of GDC Marheen in collaboration with Labor and Employment Department, UT of J&K organized awareness programme on Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (YUVA) as a part of Viksit Bharat @2047 in the college. The programme was organized under the patronage of Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta. 

On the occasion, a documentary was displayed and a detailed expert lecture was delivered by Sh. Jamshed Andotra, Extension Officer, Agriculture, Marheen. In his lecture, he discussed different schemes of agriculture, financing facilities, eligible beneficiaries, process of registration, use of pesticides in different types of crops and different projects of agriculture.  

The programme was organized under the supervision of Dr. Balbinder Singh, Convener, Career Counseling Cell. The other faculty members presented in the programme were Prof. Sandeep Choudhary, Dr. Arun Dev Singh, Dr. Shallu, Prof. Suman, Prof. Naresh, Prof. Diksha, Prof. Meenu, Prof. Arpana, Prof. Naresh, Prof Saqib and Prof. Amitika also joined the programme. 

A formal welcome address and vote of thanks were presented by Dr. Munisha Devi and Prof. Manu Saini. Students actively participated and clear their doubts by asking a number of questions after the lecture.
