NSS volunteers and the students of GDC, Marheen participated in an awareness rally on the theme of “Jal Shakti Abhiyan” on 20-02-2025. The Rally was conducted under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta, worthy Principal of the college. On this occasion, she addressed the rally of NSS volunteers and the students, to carry out the message among the people which aims to engage citizens in a nationwide effort to address water scarcity through a series of targeted interventions and also emphasized the importance of water in life. She also added that our main source of water is rain water and therefore, our water bodies should be ready to receive the maximum amount of rainfall. All efforts should be made to catch the rain, where and when it falls. The event was managed by Dr. Arun Dev Singh, NSS Programme officer of the college. The other faculty members who joined the rally among them were Dr Balbinder Singh, Prof Anoop Sharma, Dr. Munisha Devi, Prof Manu Saini, Prof Naresh, Prof Naresh Kumari, Prof Saquib ,Prof Suman and Prof Amitika and others.
