NSS volunteers and the students of Road Safety Club of GDC, Marheen participated in an Awareness Rally on the theme of “Road Safety and its Measures” on 27-12-2024. The Rally was conducted under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta, worthy Principal of the college. On this occasion , Dr. Arun Dev Singh ,NSS Programme Officer of the college addressed NSS volunteers and the students, to carry out the message among the people for using helmet while driving two-wheelers ,use Seat belt , zebra crossing, traffic lights and not to give bikes and other vehicles to those who are below eighteen and not having driving license and motivated them that it is high time  to create  awareness among the younger generation  who are losing their precious life due  to road accidents  keeping in the view of the national interest paramount. we must avoid the impediments and also stressed the need to go beyond education and called for alertness for the national interest and civic sense among the citizens. He suggested the youth of India that they should work to curb this serious problem and try to spread wide awareness among the people to enlightened them regarding traffic rules. The other faculty members who joined the rally among them were Dr Balbinder Singh, Prof Anoop Sharma, Prof Naresh, Prof Naresh Kumari, Prof Saquib,,Prof Suman and Prof Amitik and others.
