GDC Marheen organized awareness programme on the theme Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA). The programme was organized under the patronage of Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta. On the occasion, expert lecture was delivered by Dr. Balbinder Singh (Physical Director) of GDC Marheen. In his lecture he informed the students about the ill-effects of drugs on the Youth and how they can help themselves and others to refrain from substance abuse. He also described the substance use disorder, symptoms, causes, risk factors and preventions from an addiction to a drug.

The whole event was managed by Prof. Anoop Sharma, Dr. Munisha Devi and Prof. Manu Saini (Members). Other faculty members presented were Prof. Sandeep Chaudhary, Dr. Arun Dev Singh, Prof. Suman, Prof Naresh, Prof Saquib, Prof. Amitika.
