The Eco Club and Department of Environmental Science of GDC Marheen in collaboration with Govt. High School Marheen celebrated Earth Day by organizing different activities like posters making on the theme “Importance of Earth Day” and QR were generated to drag the information regarding the identification, medicinal property of a plant and open house discussion on the topic How to conserve Mother Earth in the College premises. The programme was organized under the patronage of Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta. In her address, she highlighted that we all work together to save Earth, ease sufferings and lessen the shattering economic and social consequences. Moreover, we must protect our planet from all the threats of climate disruption.
